Does the Alcatel Go Flip 4 (US model) work on EE?

Last checked 22 Oct 20264 sourcesWorked out from published specs

No.

Doesn't work

It has no UK 2G bands (900/1800 MHz) and its 4G bands (2, 4, 5, 12, 25, 26, 41, 66, 71 (US bands)) don't match EE's.

We wouldn't buy the Alcatel Go Flip 4 (US model) for a EE SIM.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and EE's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

EE (UK)

  • 3G: Switched off (completed 2024)
  • 2G: Staying on for now; EE says it will start switching 2G off from May 2029

Alcatel Go Flip 4 (US model)

  • 2G: GSM 850 / 1900 only
  • 3G: 850 MHz, 1700/2100 (AWS) MHz, 1900 MHz
  • 4G bands: 2, 4, 5, 12, 25, 26, 41, 66, 71 (US bands)
  • 4G Calling: unknown – Made for T-Mobile USA. No UK/PT 2G or 4G bands.

The same applies to networks that run on EE: BT Mobile. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
