Does the Alcatel Go Flip 4 (US model) work on KPN?

Last checked 23 Oct 20265 sourcesWorked out from published specs

No, not any more.

Doesn't work

It has no European 2G bands (900/1800 MHz) and its 4G bands (2, 4, 5, 12, 25, 26, 41, 66, 71 (US bands)) don't match KPN's.

On KPN this phone can't make reliable calls. Another network in the Netherlands may still suit it.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and KPN's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

KPN (Netherlands)

  • 3G: Switched off (31 March 2022)
  • 2G: On until 1 December 2027 (KPN started moving customers who don't need it off 2G in March 2026)

Alcatel Go Flip 4 (US model)

  • 2G: GSM 850 / 1900 only
  • 3G: 850 MHz, 1700/2100 (AWS) MHz, 1900 MHz
  • 4G bands: 2, 4, 5, 12, 25, 26, 41, 66, 71 (US bands)
  • 4G Calling: unknown – Made for T-Mobile USA. No UK/PT 2G or 4G bands.

The same applies to networks that run on KPN: Simyo. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
