Dumbphones that work in the Netherlands
We check 61 simple phones against 3 networks in the Netherlands. 0 work on at least one network, and 53 more work with caveats. Every result links to its reason and sources.
The short version
- KPN switches 2G off on 1 December 2027. VodafoneZiggo expects to switch 2G off in 2028 or 2029.
- Odido has no 2G at all and keeps 3G for now (no date set, at least six months' notice promised). A 2G-only phone won't work on Odido.
- "Supports VoLTE" on a spec sheet isn't enough. Each network has to allow that phone.
2G and 3G switch-off dates

| Vodafone (VodafoneZiggo) | Switched off (February 2020) | On; no public date, but VodafoneZiggo expects to switch it off in 2028 or 2029 |
| Odido | On for now; no date set, at least six months' notice promised | Switched off already |
