Does the Doro Leva L10 work on Eir?
Yes, it works.
WorksCalls and texts work over 2G, which Eir keeps running with no switch-off date announced, and 4G data should work (shared bands: 1, 3, 20, 28).
Calls, texts and data should all work with a Eir SIM.
We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Eir's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.
Eir (Ireland)
- 3G: Being switched off now: phased from 1 October 2026 (Donegal first) to 6 November 2026
- 2G: On; no Irish operator has announced a 2G switch-off
Doro Leva L10
- 2G: GSM 900 / 1800 (Doro UK spec sheet)
- 3G: 900 MHz, 2100 MHz
- 4G bands: 1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28
- 4G Calling: yes – Doro's spec sheet lists VoLTE: Yes, and Free (France) lists VoLTE as enabled for it.
The same applies to networks that run on Eir: GoMo, Lyca Mobile. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
