Does the Doro Leva L20 work on Vodafone UK?

Works with caveats

Calls and texts can fall back to 2G. Vodafone's 2G is due to close in spring 2030. It supports 4G Calling, but we haven't found confirmation that it's enabled on Vodafone UK. 4G data should work (shared bands: 1, 3, 7, 8, 20).

It works today, but calls on the Doro Leva L20 rely on a part of Vodafone UK's network with a switch-off on the way. Check the dates below before you commit for years.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Vodafone UK's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

  • 3G: Switched off
  • 2G: Staying on for now; VodafoneThree says Vodafone's 2G closes in spring 2030

Doro Leva L20

  • 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
  • 3G: 900 MHz, 2100 MHz
  • 4G bands: 1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28
  • 4G Calling: yes – Doro's UK spec sheet lists VoLTE: Yes, and Three lists 4G Calling (VoLTE) as supported.

The same applies to networks that run on Vodafone UK: VOXI, Lebara. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
