Works with caveats

Calls and texts can fall back to 2G. Telekom plans to switch 2G off completely by 30 June 2028. It supports 4G Calling, but we haven't found confirmation that it's enabled on Telekom. 4G data should work (shared bands: 1, 3, 7, 8, 20).

Fine for now. The catch is how calls get through: if they ride on 2G or 3G, they stop when Telekom switches that off.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Telekom's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

3G: 900 MHz, 2100 MHz
4G bands: 1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40
4G Calling: yes – Vodafone UK's spec sheet lists VoLTE (4G voice): Yes.

The same applies to networks that run on Telekom: congstar. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
