Does the HMD 2660 Flip work on 1&1?
Yes, for now.
Works with caveatsCalls and texts can fall back to 2G. 1&1 has no 2G of its own and uses Vodafone's 2G through national roaming, which ends in September 2028. It supports 4G Calling, but we haven't found confirmation that it's enabled on 1&1. 4G data should work (shared bands: 1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28).
Fine for now. The catch is how calls get through: if they ride on 2G or 3G, they stop when 1&1 switches that off.
We worked this out from the phone's published bands and 1&1's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.
