Does the HMD Barbie Phone work on 1&1?
Mostly, with a catch.
Works with caveatsCalls and texts can fall back to 2G. 1&1 has no 2G of its own and uses Vodafone's 2G through national roaming, which ends in September 2028. It supports 4G Calling, but we haven't found confirmation that it's enabled on 1&1. 4G data should work (shared bands: 1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38).
Expect it to work, but read the switch-off dates below. That's where the catch is.
We worked this out from the phone's published bands and 1&1's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.
