Works. Light's own compatibility checker says the Light Phone II (International model) will work with KPN in the Netherlands (it lists KPN and Odido (not VodafoneZiggo); checked 23 Oct 2026). It's a 4G-only phone with no 2G or 3G, so calls go over 4G Calling.

Calls, texts and data should all work with a KPN SIM.
