Doesn't workLight's own compatibility checker says the Light Phone II (International model) is not compatible with O2 (checked 23 Oct 2026). It lists Vodafone and Three (not O2 or EE).
On O2 this phone can't make reliable calls. Another network in the UK may still suit it.

- 2G: Staying on for now; O2 plans to begin switching 2G off from 2029

- 2G: Not listed (Light lists 4G LTE only)
- 3G: Not published or not checked yet
- 4G bands: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28 (International model TLP202)
- 4G Calling: yes – Light's FAQ lists 'LTE FDD + VoLTE'.
The same applies to networks that run on O2: giffgaff, Tesco Mobile, Sky Mobile. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
