Does the Light Phone III work on Vodafone?
Yes, it should.
WorksLight's own compatibility checker says the Light Phone III will work with Vodafone in Ireland (it lists Three, Vodafone and Eir; checked 23 Oct 2026). Light's spec sheet lists 4G and 5G only, so calls go over 4G Calling.
You should be able to put a Vodafone SIM in the Light Phone III and make calls, send texts and use data.

- 4G Calling: unknown – Light says the Light III is one worldwide model, but we haven't found a UK or Portuguese network that confirms 4G Calling on it. EE owners on r/LightPhone report 4G service.
The same applies to networks that run on Vodafone: Clear Mobile, An Post Mobile. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
