Does the Mudita Pure work on WindTre?
Yes, it should.
WorksCalls and texts work over 2G, which WindTre keeps running with no switch-off date announced, and its 4G bands match (shared bands: 1, 3, 7, 20). There's no mobile data on the phone itself (Mudita only allows USB tethering to a computer).
Calls and texts should work with a WindTre SIM.
We worked this out from the phone's published bands and WindTre's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.
WindTre (Italy)
- 3G: On 900 MHz only (2100 MHz 3G closed from June 2024); a software-block trial was approved in October 2026
- 2G: On; no switch-off date announced
Mudita Pure
- 2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
- 3G: 800 MHz, 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1700/2100 (AWS) MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz
- 4G bands: FDD 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 26, 28; TDD 38–41
- 4G Calling: experimental – MuditaOS 1.11.0 added VoLTE as an experimental feature for Great Britain (and DK, NL, CA, AT).
The same applies to networks that run on WindTre: Very Mobile. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
