Calls and texts work over 2G, but this is a 2G-only phone with no mobile data. No 2G switch-off date has been announced.

It works today, but calls on the Nokia 105 (2023, 2G) rely on a part of Movistar's network with a switch-off on the way. Check the dates below before you commit for years.

Movistar (Spain)

  • 3G: Being switched off: started early 2026, due to finish during 2027
  • 2G: On; no firm switch-off date (Spanish operators expect to keep 2G until around 2030)

Nokia 105 (2023, 2G)

  • 2G: GSM (2G only)
  • 3G: No 3G
  • 4G bands: None (2G-only phone)
  • 4G Calling: no – Three's device page lists 4G Calling as not supported.

The same applies to networks that run on Movistar: Digi. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
