Calls and texts work over 2G, which Vodafone keeps running with no switch-off date announced. Its 4G bands aren't published, so we can't confirm 4G data.

Vodafone (Ireland)

  • 3G: Switched off (October 2024)
  • 2G: On; no Irish operator has announced a 2G switch-off

Nokia 105 4G (2023)

  • 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
  • 3G: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1700/2100 (AWS) MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz
  • 4G bands: 4G LTE (bands not published by GSMArena)
  • 4G Calling: yes – Listed in HMD's VoLTE-verified product list (TA-1551).

The same applies to networks that run on Vodafone: Clear Mobile, An Post Mobile. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
