Owners report 4G Calling works on O2 Pay Monthly, but O2's own checker said it isn't compatible and O2 Pay as you go has been patchy for 4G Calling. Calls fall back to 2G until O2 starts switching 2G off from 2029.

It works today, but calls on the Nokia 110 4G (2021) rely on a part of O2's network with a switch-off on the way. Check the dates below before you commit for years.

  • 3G: Switched off (completed 2025/26)
  • 2G: Staying on for now; O2 plans to begin switching 2G off from 2029

Nokia 110 4G (2021)

  • 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
  • 3G: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1700/2100 (AWS) MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz
  • 4G bands: 1, 3, 5, 8 (EU model, no band 20)
  • 4G Calling: yes – Three lists 4G Calling as supported.

The same applies to networks that run on O2: giffgaff, Tesco Mobile, Sky Mobile. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
