Does the Nokia 110 4G (2023) work on EE?

Last checked 22 Oct 20264 sourcesWorked out from published specs

Mostly, with a catch.

Works with caveats

Calls and texts can fall back to 2G. EE starts switching 2G off from May 2029. It supports 4G Calling, but we haven't found confirmation that it's enabled on EE. Its 4G bands aren't published, so we can't confirm 4G data.

It works today, but calls on the Nokia 110 4G (2023) rely on a part of EE's network with a switch-off on the way. Check the dates below before you commit for years.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and EE's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

EE (UK)

  • 3G: Switched off (completed 2024)
  • 2G: Staying on for now; EE says it will start switching 2G off from May 2029

Nokia 110 4G (2023)

  • 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
  • 3G: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1700/2100 (AWS) MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz
  • 4G bands: 4G LTE (bands not published by GSMArena)
  • 4G Calling: yes – Three lists 4G Calling as supported; also on HMD's VoLTE-verified list (TA-1543).

The same applies to networks that run on EE: BT Mobile. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
