Does the Nokia 110 4G (2024) work on Free Mobile?

Last checked 23 Oct 20267 sourcesWorked out from published specs

Mostly, with a catch.

Works with caveats

With 2G being switched off, calls and texts fall back to 3G, which this phone supports (900 MHz, 2100 MHz). Free hasn't announced a 3G switch-off date. We haven't found confirmation that 4G Calling works on Free Mobile. 4G data should work (shared bands: 1, 3, 7).

Expect it to work, but read the switch-off dates below. That's where the catch is.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Free Mobile's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

Free Mobile (France)

  • 2G: No 2G of its own: uses Orange's 2G, which is off across mainland France since 20 October 2026 ("white zones" until 1–15 December 2026)

Nokia 110 4G (2024)

  • 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
  • 3G: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 2100 MHz
  • 4G bands: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20 (EU model)
  • 4G Calling: unknown – Not named on HMD's VoLTE-verified list.
