Does the Nokia 110 4G 2nd Edition work on Orange?

Last checked 23 Oct 20269 sourcesWorked out from published specs

Mostly, with a catch.

Works with caveats

With 2G being switched off, calls and texts fall back to 3G, which this phone supports (900 MHz). Orange plans to start switching 3G off from the end of 2028. We haven't found confirmation that 4G Calling works on Orange. Its 4G bands aren't published, so we can't confirm 4G data.

Expect it to work, but read the switch-off dates below. That's where the catch is.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Orange's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

Orange (France)

  • 3G: On until the end of 2028 (switch-off starts then)
  • 2G: Off across mainland France since 20 October 2026 (switched off in waves from 31 March); official no-coverage "white zones" keep it until 1–15 December 2026

Nokia 110 4G 2nd Edition

  • 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
  • 3G: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1700/2100 (AWS) MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz
  • 4G bands: 4G LTE (bands not published by GSMArena)
  • 4G Calling: unknown – Not named on HMD's VoLTE-verified list; one GSMArena owner says it does 4G calls.

The same applies to networks that run on Orange: Sosh. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
