Does the Nokia 110 4G 2nd Edition work on Telekom?
Mostly, with a catch.
Works with caveatsCalls and texts can fall back to 2G. Telekom plans to switch 2G off completely by 30 June 2028. We haven't found confirmation that 4G Calling works on Telekom. Its 4G bands aren't published, so we can't confirm 4G data.
Expect it to work, but read the switch-off dates below. That's where the catch is.
We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Telekom's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.
Telekom (Germany)
- 3G: Switched off in 2021
- 2G: On until 30 June 2028, when Telekom plans to switch it off completely
Nokia 110 4G 2nd Edition
- 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
- 3G: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1700/2100 (AWS) MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz
- 4G bands: 4G LTE (bands not published by GSMArena)
- 4G Calling: unknown – Not named on HMD's VoLTE-verified list; one GSMArena owner says it does 4G calls.
The same applies to networks that run on Telekom: congstar. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
