Does the Nokia 130 Music (2025) work on Orange?
No.
Doesn't workThis is a 2G-only phone. Orange has switched 2G off across mainland France in waves, the last on 20 October 2026; only the official no-coverage "white zones" keep it until 1–15 December 2026. It may keep working for a few more weeks in some areas, but not after that.
We wouldn't buy the Nokia 130 Music (2025) for a Orange SIM.
We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Orange's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.
Orange (France)
- 3G: On until the end of 2028 (switch-off starts then)

Nokia 130 Music (2025)
- 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
- 3G: No 3G
- 4G bands: None (2G-only phone)
- 4G Calling: no – 2G-only, so no 4G Calling.
The same applies to networks that run on Orange: Sosh. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
