Does the Nokia 150 (2023) work on Vodafone Portugal?

It works, with caveats.

Works with caveats

Calls and texts work over 2G, which Vodafone Portugal keeps for voice. This is a 2G-only phone, so there's no mobile data.

Fine for now. The catch is how calls get through: if they ride on 2G or 3G, they stop when Vodafone Portugal switches that off.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Vodafone Portugal's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

Vodafone Portugal (Portugal)

  • 3G: Switched off in phases from July 2024
  • 2G: 2G stays on for voice calls nationwide

Nokia 150 (2023)

  • 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
  • 3G: No 3G
  • 4G bands: None (2G-only phone)
  • 4G Calling: no – 2G-only, so no 4G Calling.
