Calls and texts work over 2G, which MEO keeps running for voice now 3G is gone, and 4G data should work (shared bands: 1, 3, 7, 20).

Calls, texts and data should all work with a MEO SIM.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and MEO's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

  • 2G: 2G stays on for voice calls nationwide

  • 2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
  • 3G: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 2100 MHz
  • 4G bands: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 38, 40 (EU model)
  • 4G Calling: unknown – The 2020 model numbers (TA-1276 to TA-1321) are not on HMD's VoLTE-verified list.
