Does the Nokia 3310 4G work on Bouygues Telecom?
It works, with caveats.
Works with caveatsWith 2G being switched off, calls and texts fall back to 3G, which this phone supports (900 MHz, 2100 MHz). Bouygues Telecom plans to switch 3G off at the end of 2029. We haven't found confirmation that 4G Calling works on Bouygues Telecom. Its 4G bands (38, 39, 40, 41 (TD-LTE, Chinese model)) don't match Bouygues Telecom's, so expect no 4G data.
Fine for now. The catch is how calls get through: if they ride on 2G or 3G, they stop when Bouygues Telecom switches that off.
We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Bouygues Telecom's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.
Bouygues Telecom (France)
- 3G: On until the end of 2029

Nokia 3310 4G
- 2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
- 3G: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz
- 4G bands: 38, 39, 40, 41 (TD-LTE, Chinese model)
- 4G Calling: unknown – Its 4G bands are Chinese TD-LTE bands, so 4G (and 4G Calling) won't work in the UK or Portugal.
The same applies to networks that run on Bouygues Telecom: B&You. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
