Does the Nokia 3310 4G work on Iliad?

Last checked 23 Oct 20265 sourcesWorked out from published specs

Yes, for now.

Works with caveats

Calls and texts work over 2G, which Iliad keeps running with no switch-off date announced. Its 4G bands (38, 39, 40, 41 (TD-LTE, Chinese model)) don't match Iliad's, so expect no 4G data.

It works today, but calls on the Nokia 3310 4G rely on a part of Iliad's network with a switch-off on the way. Check the dates below before you commit for years.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Iliad's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

Iliad (Italy)

  • 3G: Uses its own and WindTre's 3G; no switch-off date announced
  • 2G: Uses WindTre's 2G through national roaming; no switch-off date announced

Nokia 3310 4G

  • 2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
  • 3G: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz
  • 4G bands: 38, 39, 40, 41 (TD-LTE, Chinese model)
  • 4G Calling: unknown – Its 4G bands are Chinese TD-LTE bands, so 4G (and 4G Calling) won't work in the UK or Portugal.
