Does the Nokia 6310 (2021) work on WindTre?
It works, with caveats.
Works with caveatsCalls and texts work over 2G, but this is a 2G-only phone with no mobile data. No 2G switch-off date has been announced.
Fine for now. The catch is how calls get through: if they ride on 2G or 3G, they stop when WindTre switches that off.
We worked this out from the phone's published bands and WindTre's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.
WindTre (Italy)
- 3G: On 900 MHz only (2100 MHz 3G closed from June 2024); a software-block trial was approved in October 2026
- 2G: On; no switch-off date announced
Nokia 6310 (2021)
- 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
- 3G: No 3G
- 4G bands: None (2G-only phone)
- 4G Calling: no – 2G-only, so no 4G Calling.
The same applies to networks that run on WindTre: Very Mobile. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
