Does the Nokia 6310 (2024) work on NOS?

Last checked 22 Oct 20263 sourcesWorked out from published specs

Mostly, with a catch.

Works with caveats

Calls and texts work over 2G, which NOS keeps for voice. This is a 2G-only phone, so there's no mobile data.

It works today, but calls on the Nokia 6310 (2024) rely on a part of NOS's network with a switch-off on the way. Check the dates below before you commit for years.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and NOS's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

NOS (Portugal)

  • 3G: Switched off (2024)
  • 2G: 2G stays on for voice calls nationwide

Nokia 6310 (2024)

  • 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
  • 3G: No 3G
  • 4G bands: None (2G-only phone)
  • 4G Calling: no – 2G-only, so no 4G Calling.
