Does the Qin F21 Pro (global) work on Three?

Last checked 23 Oct 20264 sourcesWorked out from published specs

Yes, it works.

Works

Calls and texts work over 2G, which Three keeps running with no switch-off date announced, and 4G data should work (shared bands: 1, 3, 20, 28).

Nothing on Three's published plans affects this pairing right now.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Three's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

Three (Ireland)

  • 3G: On; no switch-off date announced
  • 2G: On; no Irish operator has announced a 2G switch-off

Qin F21 Pro (global)

  • 2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
  • 3G: Not published or not checked yet
  • 4G bands: FDD 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 17, 20, 28; TDD 34, 38–41
  • 4G Calling: not by default – VoLTE isn't enabled out of the box; a jtechforums guide enables it with root. UK owners report it working on giffgaff/O2 and Vodafone (calls over 2G).
