Does the Sonim XP3plus work on KPN?
Mostly, with a catch.
Works with caveatsCalls and texts can fall back to 2G. KPN switches 2G off for good on 1 December 2027. We haven't found confirmation that 4G Calling works on KPN. 4G data should work (shared bands: 1, 3, 7).
It works today, but calls on the Sonim XP3plus rely on a part of KPN's network with a switch-off on the way. Check the dates below before you commit for years.
We worked this out from the phone's published bands and KPN's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

- 4G Calling: unknown – Built for US networks.
The same applies to networks that run on KPN: Simyo. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
