Does the Light Phone III work on Bouygues Telecom?

Last checked 23 Oct 20265 sourcesLight's checker (23 Oct 2026)

Yes, it should.

Works

Light's own compatibility checker says the Light Phone III will work with Bouygues Telecom in France (it lists Orange, SFR, Bouygues and Free; checked 23 Oct 2026). Light's spec sheet lists 4G and 5G only, so calls go over 4G Calling and the 2G switch-off doesn't change anything for it.

Nothing on Bouygues Telecom's published plans affects this pairing right now.

Bouygues Telecom (France)

  • 3G: On until the end of 2029
  • 2G: Switch-off on 15 November 2026 in Brest, Guipavas, Nancy and Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy, then everywhere from 1 to 15 December 2026

Light Phone III

  • 2G: Not listed on Light's spec sheet
  • 3G: Not published or not checked yet
  • 4G bands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 38, 40, 41, 42, 48, 53, 66, 71 + 5G
  • 4G Calling: unknown – Light says the Light III is one worldwide model, but we haven't found a UK or Portuguese network that confirms 4G Calling on it. EE owners on r/LightPhone report 4G service.

The same applies to networks that run on Bouygues Telecom: B&You. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
