Works with caveats

Calls and texts work over 2G, but this is a 2G-only phone with no mobile data. Telekom plans to switch 2G off completely by 30 June 2028, and then it will stop working.

It works today, but calls on the Nokia 105 (2023, 2G) rely on a part of Telekom's network with a switch-off on the way. Check the dates below before you commit for years.

Telekom (Germany)

  • 3G: Switched off in 2021
  • 2G: On until 30 June 2028, when Telekom plans to switch it off completely

Nokia 105 (2023, 2G)

  • 2G: GSM (2G only)
  • 3G: No 3G
  • 4G bands: None (2G-only phone)
  • 4G Calling: no – Three's device page lists 4G Calling as not supported.

The same applies to networks that run on Telekom: congstar. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
