Does the Nokia 105 (2023, 2G) work on Vodafone?

It works, with caveats.

Works with caveats

Calls and texts work over 2G, but this is a 2G-only phone with no mobile data. Vodafone ends 2G for customers in September 2028, and then it will stop working.

Expect it to work, but read the switch-off dates below. That's where the catch is.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Vodafone's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

Vodafone (Germany)

  • 2G: On until September 2028 (kept for critical IoT only until the end of 2030)

Nokia 105 (2023, 2G)

  • 2G: GSM (2G only)
  • 3G: No 3G
  • 4G bands: None (2G-only phone)
  • 4G Calling: no – Three's device page lists 4G Calling as not supported.
