Works with caveats

Calls and texts can fall back to 2G. 1&1 has no 2G of its own and uses Vodafone's 2G through national roaming, which ends in September 2028. It supports 4G Calling, but we haven't found confirmation that it's enabled on 1&1. 4G data should work (shared bands: 1, 3, 8).

It works today, but calls on the Nokia 110 4G (2021) rely on a part of 1&1's network with a switch-off on the way. Check the dates below before you commit for years.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and 1&1's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

1&1 (Germany)

  • 3G: No 3G network
  • 2G: No 2G of its own: uses Vodafone's 2G via national roaming, so Vodafone's September 2028 date applies

  • 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
  • 3G: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1700/2100 (AWS) MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz
  • 4G bands: 1, 3, 5, 8 (EU model, no band 20)
  • 4G Calling: yes – Three lists 4G Calling as supported.
