Does the Nokia 130 Music (2025) work on Telekom?
Yes, for now.
Works with caveatsCalls and texts work over 2G, but this is a 2G-only phone with no mobile data. Telekom plans to switch 2G off completely by 30 June 2028, and then it will stop working.
Expect it to work, but read the switch-off dates below. That's where the catch is.
We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Telekom's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.
Telekom (Germany)
- 3G: Switched off in 2021
- 2G: On until 30 June 2028, when Telekom plans to switch it off completely
Nokia 130 Music (2025)
- 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
- 3G: No 3G
- 4G bands: None (2G-only phone)
- 4G Calling: no – 2G-only, so no 4G Calling.
The same applies to networks that run on Telekom: congstar. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
