Does the Nokia 130 Music (2025) work on Vodafone?

Last checked 23 Oct 20266 sourcesWorked out from published specs

Mostly, with a catch.

Works with caveats

Calls and texts work over 2G, but this is a 2G-only phone with no mobile data. Vodafone ends 2G for customers in September 2028, and then it will stop working.

It works today, but calls on the Nokia 130 Music (2025) rely on a part of Vodafone's network with a switch-off on the way. Check the dates below before you commit for years.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Vodafone's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

Vodafone (Germany)

  • 3G: Switched off in 2021
  • 2G: On until September 2028 (kept for critical IoT only until the end of 2030)

Nokia 130 Music (2025)

  • 2G: GSM 900 / 1800
  • 3G: No 3G
  • 4G bands: None (2G-only phone)
  • 4G Calling: no – 2G-only, so no 4G Calling.
