Does the Palm Phone (PVG100) work on Three?
No, not any more.
Doesn't workIts 4G bands (2, 4, 5, 12, 13, 17, 66 (US bands)) don't match Three's (1, 3, 20, 32), and Three has no 2G to fall back to.
On Three this phone can't make reliable calls. Another network in the UK may still suit it.
We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Three's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.
Three (UK)
- 3G: Switched off (November 2025)
- 2G: Three has never had a 2G network, so calls need 4G Calling (VoLTE)
Palm Phone (PVG100)
- 2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
- 3G: 850 MHz, 1700/2100 (AWS) MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz
- 4G bands: 2, 4, 5, 12, 13, 17, 66 (US bands)
- 4G Calling: unknown – US bands only, so no 4G in the UK or Portugal.
The same applies to networks that run on Three: SMARTY, iD Mobile. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
Other networks in the UK
- EE Works with caveats
- Vodafone UK Works with caveats
