Yes, it works.

Works

Calls and texts work over 2G, which NOS keeps running for voice now 3G is gone, and 4G data should work (shared bands: 1, 3).

Calls, texts and data should all work with a NOS SIM.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and NOS's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

  • 3G: Switched off (2024)
  • 2G: 2G stays on for voice calls nationwide

Sonim XP3

  • 2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
  • 3G: 800 MHz, 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1700/2100 (AWS) MHz, 2100 MHz
  • 4G bands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 12, 13, 14, 25, 26, 38, 41, 66 (no band 20)
  • 4G Calling: unknown – Built for US networks.
