Does the Sonim XP3 work on Bouygues Telecom?

Last checked 23 Oct 20266 sourcesWorked out from published specs

Yes, for now.

Works with caveats

With 2G being switched off, calls and texts fall back to 3G, which this phone supports (900 MHz, 2100 MHz). Bouygues Telecom plans to switch 3G off at the end of 2029. We haven't found confirmation that 4G Calling works on Bouygues Telecom. 4G data should work (shared bands: 1, 3).

Fine for now. The catch is how calls get through: if they ride on 2G or 3G, they stop when Bouygues Telecom switches that off.

We worked this out from the phone's published bands and Bouygues Telecom's own published network facts (see How we check). Nobody has confirmed it for this exact pairing yet.

The same applies to networks that run on Bouygues Telecom: B&You. Smaller networks sometimes handle 4G Calling differently, so check with them too.
